Easy cheesy scrambled eggs

This is quick one guys!  Have you ever made scrambled eggs in a cup in the microwave?  It's a revelation! 


  • 1-2 eggs (depending on the age of your child)
  • a dash of milk
  • 30g of grated cheese


    1. Take a microwave-safe mug and crack the egg straight in.  Add the milk and use a fork to mix well.
    2. Put the cup in the microwave at the top setting for 30 seconds.
    3. Take out and mix well.
    4. Put the cup in again for 30 seconds.
    5. Take out and mix well.
    6. Keep on repeating step 6 and 7 until the eggs get to your chosen consistency.
    7. Add the cheese and mix thoroughly

The eggs will be very hot when you take them out so make sure to let them cool before serving them.  I sometimes add chopped up tomatoes at stage 7 with the cheese to add extra nutrition.
